Diabetes Lower Ability Brain

Diabetes is a disease that is very risky cause complications. In fact, it also spreads the impact on the sufferer's brain power.

It was evident from the research conducted by a team of researchers from the University of Edinburgh, UK. Failure to deal with type 2 diabetes will lead to reduction in brain power, such as decreasing the patient's memory.

The researchers concluded that after doing a study of 1066 patients with type 2 diabetes, aged between 60 to 75 years.

The patients do some tests to determine the ability of logic, memory and concentration. The result is a 113 type 2 patients dibetes who have experienced a decrease in blood sugar levels dramatically (hypoglycaemic), test scores in terms of logic and vocabulary skills is very low.

"In the case of diabetic patients who have experienced hypoglycaemic will decrease cognitive abilities," said Dr. Jackie Price, chief researcher at the University of Edinburgh.

Diabetes is a metabolism disorder characterized by high levels of sugar in the blood. If you have diabetes, it is not possible exposure to other disease complications such as heart and kidney disease.

If you have diabetes you should have to really keep eating. And of course have to reduce food and beverages that contain sugar.

Diabetes could be prevented by adopting healthy lifestyles. Like making a balanced diet, reducing food contains protein, fat, sugar, and salt.
Healthy diet should also be balanced with sufficient exercise. Exercise at least 30 minutes every day. Do not forget to always routinely checked blood sugar levels every year.
