Chocolate, Natural Pain

Pleasure obtained when chewed chocolate will work as a painkiller.

No exaggeration if some people call Brown as a food paradise. By the Aztecs in Mexico, cocoa, which comes from the word xocoati (Aztec language), believed to be the god of Agriculture sent from heaven. Brown is believed to be the food of the gods.

Besides it feels good, chocolate is also efficacious as natural painkillers. As revealed in a study conducted a number of researchers at the University of Chicago, the pleasure derived when chewed chocolate will work as a painkiller.

In a study published in the Journal of Neuroscience, the researchers tested a group of mice placed in a cage. Mice looked in pain and lifting his paws when heated cage floor. However, when rats were fed chocolate, they could not lift his paws still hot even though the floor.

Although the research conducted on animals, but researchers believe the same will affect humans. "The impact is incredible," said Professor Peggy Mason.

Power to produce chocolate stimulates endorphin able to create a calm mood. Endorphins are chemicals in the brain that can reduce stress. So eat chocolate, if you feel sick.
