Fructose trigger high blood pressure

Not only make blood sugar levels soaring, fructose can also increase blood pressure.

You should be more careful eating sweet foods, syrup or carbonated beverages. This is because not only trigger high levels of sugar in the blood but also can increase blood pressure.

Fructose is found in many foods and sugary drinks, according to research conducted by a team of researchers from the University of Colorado Denver Health Sciences Center, can trigger high blood pressure. Researchers also found an association between fructose consumption to obesity.

The study involved 4528 adults with no history of high blood diseases. The amount of fructose consumption and examined respondents who consume more than 74 grams per day, high blood pressure increased between 28% to 87%

"The results of these studies indicate that consumption of high fructose, can increase blood pressure significantly. And, it happens to people who do not have a history of high blood, "said Dr. Diana Jalal, one of the researchers, such as quotes from HealthDay vivanews, Wednesday, November 3, 2009.

Diana also revealed further research is needed to determine the extent to which restrictions on the consumption of fructose effect on lowering blood pressure. This was to see whether reducing the consumption of fructose may have an effect on blood pressure decreased significantly.
